Ben Chan joined Fairview in August 2024 as a Portfolio Manager and has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets. Ben was most recently a portfolio manager in the Australian equities team at Schroders Investment Management Australia.

Prior to his role at Schroders, Ben spent eight years at Evans & Partners, initially in equity research and the last 5 years as a portfolio manager for the concentrated Australian equities product. Ben started his career in equities markets in 2004 with Goldman Sachs in the research team and subsequently spent 7 years on the sell side at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.

Over his career, Ben has developed strong expertise across the ASX listed Basic Industrials universe.
